ASSOCIATION OF BLACK LAW ENFORCERS
The Association of Black Law Enforcers (A.B.L.E.) is a non-profit organization formed in 1992 to address the needs and concerns of Black in law enforcement professionals. A.B.L.E. is focused on bringing the many voices of its membership to government officials, law enforcement agencies, and community partners in order to advance its Mission, Vision and Mandate. A.B.L.E. strives to provide a supportive, developmental, and social space for its members. A.B.L.E. does not provide advisement on legal or labour relations matters.
A.B.L.E. is a leading organization, focused on advocating for its membership, increasing representation, recognizing professional excellence, investing in the next generation of leaders, and being a bridge between law enforcement and Black communities, organizations, and key partners.
A.B.L.E. membership includes Police Officers, Correctional Officers, Probation and Parole Officers, Immigration Officers, Customs Officers, Court Services Officers, By-law Enforcement Officers, Sheriff’s Officers, Special Constables, civilian members of law enforcement agencies, young and aspiring law enforcement professionals, and members from the community.
