Who We Are

Caribbean African Canadian Social Services (CAFCAN) is a registered charitable organization dedicated to providing culturally appropriate services and support to the Caribbean and African Canadian communities in the Greater Toronto Area.

Founded in 2014 as an extension of the Jamaican Canadian Association (JCA), CAFCAN has continued the JCA’s 25-year legacy of aiding children, youth, individuals, and families.

History of CAFCAN

In 2014, CAFCAN was established to differentiate the social services arm from the membership services of the Jamaican Canadian Association (JCA). Building on JCA’s track record of over 25 years, CAFCAN received charitable status in 2015. Our organization continues to grow and adapt to meet the evolving needs of the diverse Caribbean African Canadian communities.
