He Is Me Institute - Black Male Teacher Initiative

The Black Male Teacher Initiative (BMT Initiative) is a collective of individuals and institutions that directly and indirectly engage in practices, develop policies, and cultivate environments that lead to increasing the number of Black men who are recruited, retained, and retired from teaching.

The BMT Initiative gives representatives from institutions across the education ecosystem access to the following benefits at NO COST:

• Invitations to virtual convenings to learn and discuss how to improve Black male teacher pathways.

• Promote education and career opportunities with our network of current and aspiring Black male teachers.

Joining the BMT Initiative is also the first step in implementing He is Me Institute’s specialized programs and services!
