10 Black Celebrity Men Who’ve Opened Up About Childhood Sexual Abuse

Bennett, Jessica

During an eye-opening conversation with Nia Long, Atlanta rapper Jeezy recently revealed that he suffered sexual abuse as a child at the hands of a babysitter. This echoes the voices of other Black men who have spoken up about their childhood sexual trauma. His candid revelation let others know that they’re not alone and that they aren’t any less of a man to have gone though such turmoil.

The conversation also serves as a reminder to parents to watch over their sons just as much as they do their daughters.
